As a scientist, it is important to be able to tell the difference between a fact and an opinion.  Read the information at this link,  Fact or Opinion  then answer the questions below.  Use binder paper and pencil or word process your responses.  Don't forget Taylor heading and title the homework, "Fact vs Opinion". 

1. What makes a fact a fact? (Use your own example in your response.)

2. How do you know when a statement is an opinion and not a fact? (Use your own example in your response.)
